How Fridgit works

Open the app, point it at your open fridge or pantry, and tap the shutter. Fridgit spots your ingredients and shows real dishes you can make right now — sorted by how much you already have. Tap a dish for the steps, or hit share to post your "from nothing to dinner" card.

Common questions

How many scans are free?

Your first 3 scans are free, forever. After that, Fridgit Plus unlocks unlimited scanning.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone to change or cancel. You can also tap Restore Purchases in Fridgit's Settings if a purchase isn't showing up.

It didn't detect my food

Open the fridge a bit wider and make sure there's decent light — Fridgit reads what it can actually see. Loose items and clear shelves work best; very dark photos or closed drawers are hard to read.

Can I set dietary preferences?

Yes — in Settings you can mark vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten‑free, and allergies. Fridgit applies them to every scan so suggestions stay within your needs.

What happens to my fridge photos?

They're used to find your recipes and aren't stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
